This is to inform all candidates who chose Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) in the 2025 UTME and those who did not choose ESUT but now wish to apply that there will be online screening of candidates for admission. Please note that candidates who now wish to change to ESUT should first apply to JAMB for change of institution.
Candidates should note the following:
A. ESUT cut-off marks for different courses are as shown below:
i. Medicine/ Surgery, Nursing Sciences, Law – 240
ii. Pharmacy – 220
iii. Med Lab Science, Medical Radiography, Computer Science – 200
iv. Anatomy, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Political Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology – 180
v. Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences and other courses – 160
B. The screening will be online and candidates are not required to appear for Physical Screening or Aptitude Test.
C. The screening processing fee is two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only.
D. Candidates will be notified of their admission status through text messages/ESUT portal
COMMENCEMENT OF REGISTRATION:
Online registration starts on Tuesday 29th July 2025 and ends on Sunday 31st August 2025, the portal closes on Sunday 31st August 2025
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
1. Visit the University website: https://www.esut.edu.ng
2. Under Regular Students, click 2025/2026 Admission Screening Registration
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “submit”
4. Enter your email and phone number and click “submit”
5. On the invoice page, you have payment options using InterSwitch which include:
a. By ATM Card on the InterSwitch platform
b. By Bank Branch: Print the invoice page and take to any bank with a printout of the invoice and make payment of N2,000.00 using Interswitch Pay Direct.
c. Obtain a receipt printout which contains a “Confirmation Order Number”
6. Return to the portal and enter your JAMB Registration Number again
7. Proceed with the completion of the form
8. Confirm your entries
9. Submit your application
10. Print out your acknowledgment slip
NB:
Candidates awaiting the results of WAEC (May/June), NECO (May/June) and NABTEB (May/June) 2025 are eligible to apply. Results released after 30th September 2025 will not be accepted. Inconsistency in names is not acceptable to the university and may lead to disqualification.
Candidates’ names on their O’Level certificates and UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.
All candidates are to upload their O’Level Results to JAMB.
ATTESTATION:
Candidate must certify that the information given by him/her in each of the sections of the screening form is to the best of his/her knowledge accurate and should any be found to be false, shall be disqualified or self-disqualified.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES:
All direct entry candidates who chose ESUT are also to be screened online. They are to access the screening form online and update the screening form with their A-level and other relevant results. They are to forward their Transcripts to ESUT Registrar and confirm their submission to the same email address.
