The Chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Enugu and District Society, Mrs. Ifeoma Otiji on Wednesday 22nd June, 2022 led her executives and some ICAN members from ESUT on courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor ESUT, Prof. Aloysius M.N. Okolie to felicitate with him on his recent appointment.
She used the opportunity to seek for collaboration with ESUT on what she termed-“Business Education “Summit” aimed at training students of faculty of management sciences on accounting softwares and the importance of accounting etc.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor, thanked the ICAN team for their concerns and expression of support, and welcomed the collaboration proposed by the ICAN Chairman.
High point of the visit was the presentation of a big portrait of the VC by the ICAN team as a mark of solidarity and support. Present at the courtesy visit were, the University Bursar- Dr. Augustine Ojeh who incidentally is the Vice Chairman of ICAN Enugu District Society, others include Lady Ngozi Okorie-PRO, Mrs. Ngozi Ugwu, Mrs. Josephine Obodo-Ex-Offico, Prof. Oliver Inyiama, Dr. Lucy Onyekwere and Dr. Victoria Chukwuani.
